Baywatch Model Discovers Innovative Approach to Confront Internet Trolls and Overcome ‘Bad Days’

The model and actor Charlotte McKinney, who played Julia in the 2017 Baywatch reboot, has embarked on a slight career diversion to fight the negativity she experiences online

A model and Baywatch star has shared her unique strategy for dealing with social media trolls.

Charlotte McKinney, who played Julia in the 2017 movie alongside Hollywood hunks Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, has turned to stand-up comedy to fight the negativity experienced online. The 30-year-old from Florida says she believes in focusing on herself and staying positive despite the pressures of social media.

And her way of building confidence and overcome negativity sees her take to the stage and pick up the mic. McKinney is reported as saying she believes that comedy requires a great deal of confidence, and by pushing herself to perform on stage, she has been able to develop a stronger sense of self-ᴀssurance.

She said: “It’s all in your head. My words to live by are just to focus on your own self. I’m a person who, like anyone else, has bad days and good days.

“And it can be hard to stay positive, especially with social media, constantly looking at other people and comparing yourself. But comedy has always been a part of my life and I love it.

“And I’m grateful that I’ve had supportive people and mentors along the way, encouraging me to do it.”

The US beauty skyrocketed to fame on Instagram, where she boasts a whopping 2.3 million followers and regularly floods the site with seriously Sєxy snaps.

She then signed with a modelling agency before going on to appear in an innuendo-laden, “all-natural” commercial for Carl’s Jr. that played on her ᴀssets, which aired during the 2015 Super Bowl.

McKinney has since appeared in a number of movies, including Joe Dirt 2 and the film reboot of the popular beach-based series where she rocked the famous red swimsuit.

McKinney has previously opened up about being diagnosed with intersтιтial cysтιтis, a chronic and painful bladder condition.

To combat it she follows an anti-inflammatory diet and maintains a daily fitness routine

Her anti-inflammatory diet eliminates sugar and gluten, and replaces them instead for whole, fresh foods.

Additionally, McKinney maintains a daily fitness routine, which she credits as an essential part of her lifestyle.
