Mikayla Demaiter may no longer be competing for Bluewater Hawks in the Provincial Women’s Hockey League, but she is still proving to be a cool customer
Mikayla Demaiter called herself ‘the main attraction’ after taking a selfie in front of the Eiffel Tower.
Demaiter was known as ‘the World’s Sєxiest Hockey Player’ when she starred as a fearless goaltender on the ice. After years of putting herself in harm’s way of flying pucks, ice hockey blades and sticks, she decided to leave the ice and pursue a career in modelling.
She has since gone on to accumulate more than 2.9m followers on Instagram.
While her developing years were spent on the ice, the Canadian’s latest post had fans feeling rather H๏τ.
She uploaded an ᴀssertive post of her posing in front of the Eiffel Tower while wearing a low cut top complete with black and white mini skirt. “I took pH๏τos at a tourist attraction only to find out that I’m the main attraction,” she wrote in a cheeky caption.
One particularly smitten fan looked to be shooting their sH๏τ with Demaiter in the comments section. “Does it suck being basically perfect looking,” the fan began. “Seriously, if I could sculpt a woman, I’m pretty sure it would look something like you. Amazing.”
Another admirer said, Absolutely gorgeous and love your outfit and these colours on you Mikayla,” before another rhetorically asked, “what’s wrong with being the main attraction? You are truly beautiful baby”
“That you are. Never seen a more beautiful woman,” said one other fan before a fourth said, “Beautiful woman in a beautiful city.” The compliments kept on coming in as a fifth said, “You are so beautiful that’s why you turn out to be the main attraction. Absolutely stunning as always.”
In 2020, Demaiter announced she was leaving the sport in an emotional post to her side Bluewater Hawks, who compete in the Provincial Women’s Hockey League.
“It is time to say goodbye to ice hockey,” she said. “It is time to turn the page and move to the next chapter of my life, for the first time you will not be my number one focus.
“I am excited about the future because everything you have taught me will allow me to succeed.
“There will still be early mornings, new adventures and new friends, and I hope that I embrace them with the same love and pᴀssion I did for you.”
