Model Receives 3,000 Responses to Her ‘Boyfriend Application’ for Love Search

Model and TikTok star Vera Dijkmans is looking for love but opted to do it in a very unusual way – that being creating a “boyfriend application” on social media

A model ‘tired’ of being single launched a “boyfriend application” to find love – and she’s already had thousands of potential suitors.

Vera Dijkmans decided to turn to her 374,000 TikTok followers after struggling with the 2023 dating scene.

She created the ‘form’ that consists of a questionnaire, including personal questions regarding whether the man still lives with his parents and if he currently has any “booty calls”.

And the 20-something has had quite the response already.

Since posting, Vera’s clip racked up over 47,000 views and allegedly 3,000 applicants within 24 hours.

“Some people think it’s weird that I use an application to find love but overall the response has been positive with a lot of candidates,” Vera, who lives in London, said.

“It’s hard dating in 2023, so I want to know who’s a good candidate right away and if we will be a good fit.

“My DMs are really full [with messages from suitors] so it’s hard to count but I’d say I’ve already had around 3,000 applications within 24 hours.

“But I’m still taking more.”

Although the model has never been in a long-term relationship before, Vera urged that she will never lower her high standards for a man.

She’s single, ready to mingle but certainly has her requirements – like income and, more specifically, someone who watches cartons.

“I’ve been single my whole life, that’s why I feel ready for a boyfriend now,” Vera explained when asked about her requirements.

“I’m ready to settle down and be serious.

“But he needs to be funny, have good taste in music and his own income.

“He also has to be loyal and someone who watches cartoons.”

The responses from the wannabe boyfriends include a range of answers – and compromises .

One bloke said that he lives with his partners, doesn’t drive, but does own two boats.

And another admitted he’s not fond of cartoons but vowed to never pull Vera’s mates.

Balance, right?

To make things fair, Vera gave applicants a glimpse into what she expects from the first date – including who is coughing up the cash.

“I would come dressed up, I want to make an impression on the person I’m trying to date and I’d expect the same in return,” the stunner explained.

“I would judge them if I can tell they’re not making any effort to look good for me, cause I’m doing the same thing for him.

“However, I’d rather pay for myself, just to make sure there’s no weird power play at stake.

“Paying for yourself also means you don’t owe anyone anything.”
