Lina S, a single mum from Florida, took to social media to slam a group of “jealous” old ladies who tried to shame her for wearing a ʙικιɴι at the beach with her kids
A woman has slammed a group of ‘jealous’ old ladies who tried to shame her for wearing a ʙικιɴι when she took her kids to the beach.
Lina S, who posts online under the username @keepinupwme, recently hit the beach with her friend Sarah and their children.
But the family fun day became a “bitter” experience as the single mum from Florida, revealed she was shamed by other women for her outfit.
However, Lina didn’t let the haters get to her as she took to social media claiming they were “jealous” of her body.
In the video, which has gained more than 5,700 likes, she wrote: “The old ladies talking about and shaming us because we wore ʙικιɴιs at the beach as mums after having babies as if we weren’t right next to them and couldn’t hear.”
She then lipsynced to a viral sound in response, which said: “Your body is not giving, s*** up, ’cause your face is not giving, how about that? How about them apples?”
At the end of the video, Sarah, dressed in a ʙικιɴι, could be seen laughing next to Lina.
Sara replied to the clip, writing: ‘They wish they were us.’
TikTok users have since taken to the comments to express their support for the mum to be able to wear whatever she wants.
One user wrote: “I’m so so so sorry. You guys are literally iconic and amazing.”
Another commented: “Mean girls grow into mean old ladies. Just mad they aren’t as lovely as you two.”
A third added: “They’re just jealous.”
“Bc they’re all wrinkly now,” a fourth said.
Lina later shared a video of herself donning the ʙικιɴι in her backyard, which left fans stunned as they dubbed her the “most beautiful girl in the world.”
Another penned: “Ur glowing.” [sic]
